I have a feeling this is where the streak ends. Hopefully they can bounce back if they do lose, they have a pretty soft schedule coming up.

You guys have a better team that most give credit for, but not as good as Flames fans think. Same can be said for the Oilers. I see both teams in the hunt for a wild card spot but finishing outside the playoffs.

Islanders, Buffalo, Vancouver, Arizona and toronto will all finish in the bottom 5 or 6.

We Flames fans think our team sucks—so perhaps that is just your humble opinion?

Not so humble, but yes.

Oilers fans are entering Sabres , Islanders and Flames (of a couple yrs ago) fan territory of thinking the team is way better than it is.

I agree for the most part, but the Flames are deeper imo. They held their own without Johnny (which would've faded but) and the Oil without Mc would be basement dwellers.

Im not sure they are any deeper outside defence. That continues to be your comparitive strength. With the Hall trade and Nugent Hopkins not doing so poop hot youve closed the gap on Forwards but I dont think your deeper.

Take Our respective best forwards out of the mix and what do we have?

Draisailt would be your 2nd best forward after Johnny G and thats no slight to Money, it just is, and Bennett would be our 6th or 7the best forward.

Overall, Draisaitl, Eberle, Lucic, pullijarvii, Nugent Hopkics and Lucic is still far better than Money, Brouwer, Bennett, backlund, Tkachuk and whatever ham and Egger you want to throw in there.

Speaking of Ham and Eggers, I doubt the you could swap out your 4 best role players for Maroon, Kassian, Pouliot and Pitlick without the Oilers making a serious downgrade. Who do you have? Ferland?

Looch will fade like a passing ship, Pully should be sent down. And if you think Sam would be 6th or 7th on your team you're fcked more than first thought. But everyone has an opinion.

Bennett isnt better than mcDavid, Draisaitl , Eberle, Nugent Hokins or Lucic currently. I think in under 3 years he would be our 3rd best forward, but thats the future Bubba.

I agree Pulli should be sent down, but thats only for more ice time. Hes gonna be a damn fine player, maybe even better than Bennett when they hit their respective primes.

I agree. I was talking currently. Pully will be awesome! I guess what I'm saying is Mc hides a lot of cracks in the Oil.

Bennett is still a young player and just currently in his 3rd year, his best point output so far in a season has been 36 points.

You're boyfriend Nugent Hopkins has been in the league for 6 years and his best point total in a season has been 56 points. For a former first overall pick I would expect more, plus he's injury prone.

I'll take the other side and say 3-1 Flames. Flames are playing well and the Jets are struggling on the road. If the Flames hope to make the playoffs, they can't afford to lose winnable home games like this one... especially against team they're competing with.

Actually I think the way Bennett is playing he is better than Lucic RNH and even Eberle. Some of their point totals are inflated because of McDavid... He is that good... He leads the league for a reason and that includes tons of assists that his teammates benefit from

I don't see how you can think our depth isn't better... Our top scorer has 17 point vs your top guys... They're scoring by committee, I think our scoring depth is better... My opinion at least

You lost any credibility the second you said Lucic is a better player than Monahan or Bennett, because he just isn't. I'd also argue that they're both better than RNH and Eberle, too

Anybody can get points playing on a line with McDavid. He could make John Scott a 30 goal scorer, he's that good. He's inflated Lucic's numbers a lot. Doesn't make Lucic a better player than Monahan. To contrast, Monahan's been on a six game point streak and he hasn't even been on a line with Gaudreau for that stretch, and unless you're gonna tell me Brouwer inflates point levels like McDavid does I think it's clear who the better player is.

That said, Lucic and Monahan are very different players, but if you're going to argue by point totals then you have to factor in the McDavid effect.

On to the topic at hand, I think Calgary's got this one. Johnson's been playing great and the boys in front of him are scoring, plus the Jets are struggling. You never know, though. This is a League where anyone can beat anyone on any given night.

I dont think hes better than Monohhan...but untill Bennett scores 60 points in a season the proof is in the pudding, Lucic is the better more i pactful hockey player.
For the time being.

And watch some games FFs...you guys act like every point gained by any Oiler was McDavid banked it in off their asses or something.

Omg Larson!! Are you joking. Backlund is so underrated it is laughable one of the best two way centres in the league. Lucic horrible signing he only has point cuz of mcdavid. Hopkins for a number one pick horrible. And drisidle I know bad spelling!! He is just hot right now Bennett gets that way too. For you to say all those players you named are better then 90-95% of the flames well you really have blinders on!!

Ferland who you make a joke about is accually a very solid player! And I would take him over any of those ham and edgers you refer to. Stajan has lost a lot but He does a roll and that roll is a lot of little things right with out a doubt would take him over kassian and maroon. The other two maybe not. I would take Hathaway over any of those guys. Bouma that's a wash. I will tell you if both the flames and oilers make the playoff this year teams would rather play edm then Calgary

Most of the time you make some fair comments but this one is just ridiculous

The Nuge has been terrible, Pouliot has been terrible, Kassian is a plug older and slower than Ferkland, Pitlick is so so at best.. Maroon is exceeding expectations, but playing with McJesus will do that, Pulju has like 2 points in the last 15 games.

Why did you decide to turn troll all of a sudden?!!
